Finally, my promise...

Hey guys!
How are you?! I hope fine!

How long time no see, huh? I missed you and also our blog...
Well, I really ask your forgiveness because of our lack! We've had a looot of things to do in school, courses and things more... I'm sure you're understanding us, probably you're in the same situation! You know, end of year is always like this!
But, I have good news for you: In 2 weeks, our vacations arrive and then, we'll post a lot of nice things about England and, principally, about our sweet Oxford *-*

So, let's start? Are you ready?

Today, I'm gonna tell you about the flag of this amazing country: England... I'm sure you've seen this yet! If you don't remember, think a little... The colors red, blue and white remember you something?

If you really don't remeber, you can take a view of this beneath:

And now, can we continue?

Well, this flag wasn't always like that... This is the final product of 3 flags: the Scotland, Ireland and England ones! Yes, did you know this?
It's one of the most clear examples about what the political transformations can make with the national symbols...
Are you understanding until here, aren't you? Because now I'm gonna tell you some story about this beautiful flag (yes, I have to admit, I love it... *-*)...
First, let's go back to the year 1603 (just a thing: are you imagining your clothes, hair styles, houses and things like that? If not, try to do this, is amazing! Well, continuing...rsrs)...
Imagine you live in England and then you heard the people saying your king, from this moment, will be Jaime V, a Scotland king... Yes, it happened!
And more: he changed the capital of Edinburgh to London (Come on, we know everybody loves London... =P). But, there is a point: when he did it, he had to create a 'new country', so the United Kindon was born here!
Now, follow my reasoning: if it's a new country, a new flag will be necessary... So, the king merged both flags: the Scotland and England ones!

It's the flag of Scotland. And represents the St. André's White Cross! In our story, we're talking about this flag in the 16th Century...

And here, it's the flag of England. It represents the St. Jorge's Red Cross... Of course, it's in the same century!

This change started to be made in 1606, and just a long time later, it became oficial... Hey, are you thinking it finishes here? If yes, you are wrong...
In 1707, the Great Britain Kingdom was criated, and one more nation was in this union: Wales. Then in 1801, Ireland was joined at the nation, so the name of all of this became: The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland (O_o hey, how long!).
Now, think: if one more country joined, what could happened with the flag? You already know, don't you?

Yes, if you thought the flag changed, you're right! They incorporated the Irish flag to the others...

This Irish flag also represents the St. Jorge's Red Cross... It belongs at 18th Century!

Whew, are you tired about this overdose of History? rsrs
Just let me finish our post... Well, the union of this flags became this:

 People, it's not amazing?? *-*
Well, this is the flag of all the United Kingdom, but it's sometimes associated at just my sweet England (yes, it's mine, mine and permanently mine! rsrs =P... Did you pick up a few of possessiveness? I not...rsrs)
Just to summarize my post:
